I am trying to replace the hub kit on my washer. I watched a lot of videos, and it looked simple. I had to cut the agitator off (none of the other tips worked for removing it - tried for 3 days). Now, I can't get the hub off, because the hub is narrower than the spline sticking up above the hub. I am attaching photos for reference. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

So you need to get the splined cog off? Is that hole in the center threaded, by any chance?
