My Lennox AC doesn't cool down the air. Fan runs. It was my first start after winter. What should I check?

If that is all the information you have, I suggest to get a service man out to check things out and give you some opinions on where the problem might be, what fan is running and what fan is not running and if the unit is clean and charged.

Simple patronising statements first. We assume the thermostat switch is turned to cold.

Can you hear the compressor motor working/humming?
It is the oval shaped dark coloured object that seems like it has no moving parts. It should be right smack bang in the middle of the air con. If it is not making any sound then I would definitely call a service men, as this would be a major problem.
