it seems that the mounting brackets are welded to the motor chassis. Can I insert a new mounting bracket onto the chassis.


any other suggestion would be appreciated.

Torsion flex mounting. You can purchase a new bracket, you would have to grind off the old brackets to get it to fit. Might be worth your while to just buy a new motor. Motors and brackets in link below:

It's possible the brackets broke for a reason - for example, out of balance vibrating blower wheel. It's not normal to have that happen.

Is the motor noisy? Does it vibrate?

it appears that the blower assembly was not wide enough and the sides were not under tabs of the furnace. it had tape on it to cover the waps and some of the tape was sucked in to the blower wheel.



I will probably have to get one that is the right side.
