The maintenance guy at the factory where I
work had to replace a bad 200 Micro farad motor capacitor.
He only had a 300-380 Micro farad cap.
So he used it as a replacement for the 200.
Both were the same operating voltage.
Will there be any problems from using the higher
value capacitor?

Unlikely. The increased capacitance will create a slightly larger phase shift but not enough to cause a problem.
