Hello,
We are installing a mosaic tile backsplash in our kitchen. The sheets come in 12"x12". We're thinking we want it to be 14"-16" high. These are the long slender tiles that are stacked and offset in each sheet. If I want to add height and make it 16" high for example, should I cut some sheets into 8" and 4" sections and then use 4" on bottom, 8" in middle, and 4" on top? Or should we use 12" and 4" sections? I realize that we'll need to pay attention to the patterning and wanted to know if anyone could point me to an instructional to do what we're attempting, or if you have any advice for me in doing this.
This is an example of the type of tile I'm talking about. This is not the product, color, etc. - but it is the shape.
Thanks in advance.
