Hello.
I had a leakage from the ceiling several weeks ago and since then I have a very heavy mold scent in the room.
There might be mold on the wooden (deck) floor itself but that worries me less.
I suspect that a lot of mold accumulated underneath the floor itself.
This is a rental appartment and I know my landlord - I don't think she will help me take care of the problem.

Do you have any suggestions how to get rid of the mold underneath the wooden floor?

Before going to the landlord with this, you should contact your local government rental rights agency to find out what your rights are. They will tell you what you can and can't do.

By law, if your leak was caused by something beyond your control, (just mean that you didnt cause it yourself) then your landlord is required to fix the damage. She is required to fix the leak, the ceiling, the roof if needed, and any damage done to the floors. You dont own the home, its not your issue. Its hers, and the law will back you up. On the other hand, if you caused the leak that caused this damage, then you are on your own. In that case you need to get that floor dried out and test for mold, find out where it is.

I'm trying to avoid dealing with the landlord if it's possible.
I want to figure out if there's some solution to removing/drying up the mold underneath the floors without needing to call professionals.

Any suggestions?

I didn't cause the leakage - we had a crazy storm several day's ago.
I believe I know where the mold is hiding but I have no idea how to reach this area or how to clean it.
I'ts a very small erea near the wall (about 10 to 20 c"m).
It could be great if there's some liquid I can pour on the floor itself and let it absorb in the wood and get to the mold to take care of it.
Or any other solution you might think of.

if you find this liquid let me know. Otherwise, you are most likely going to have to face the reality of your situation and either pull up that floor to get rid of the mold and either replace it or clean off the mold and put it back down, or call in a pro. Ignoring mold only makes it worse. Especially if its black mold, that stuff will spread in a hurry and kill you if you dont get rid of it. I just got rid of huge vat of it in my trailer.

Mold is hazardous for you and your family. You sometimes have to rip out walls and floors to get rid of it. It does not go away on it's own. Your landlord should know this and be willing to fix it or be sued. I don't think you have a choice but to tell her about it and let her to fix it. If she does not then you will have legal recourse against her. Do not live with this problem.

OK. There has to be a story here. If it's a leak from a storm and you are failing to notify the landlord, then you are going to assume the responsibility for it. Not the landlord. It is likely the landlord's to fix, but only if you notify him/her in a timely manner. The landlord may even carry insurance to pick up the tab, but failing to notify them puts you on the hook. There is no magic mold potion that will soak in and kill hidden mold. It's tough enough sometimes to kill it in plain sight.
