We have had moisture problems with our concrete floor in our bedroom. Luckily we haven't laid carpet yet and hopefully can fix this problem. We discovered mildew in a corner on the north side of the room. We have a downspout there that is connected to an underground drainage system. We had a large storm and forgot that it wasn't completely connected, so the ground is quite wet and in the winter doesn't really ever dry out. We sealed about 2 1/2 ft. Of the floor from the wall corner to corner. Now just under the window there is water on the floor. The windows sweat, but that isn't where it's coming from, at least not spilling over the sill, they don't sweat that much. Should I try another sealer or is the moisture around the window somehow seeping down the wall to the floor? Or, is it coming from the ground? I didn't see any threads that covered a sealed floor, unless I missed one. I hope someone has encountered this or has some words of wisdom!
