I did not orginally install these, nor were they removed by me... I'll be darned if I can see how they clip back in. :huh:

Did a web search to no avail.

They have a wire bent in a double v with 1/4" ends turned at a right angle... which evidently clips to something somewhere, but I don't see what or how.

How to get them back into the ceiling cans?

Do the cans have two metal protrusions on each side? These type of trims usually are installed where you pinch the "V" springs and fit them into holding tabs on the sides of the can, then push them up.
