Window trim is one of the few places in a house where the angles are actually 90deg. But as Ron said, if they fit the new window. There are often differences in lengths, but the angles should be the same.
It is probably best to trash the old moulding and not use it as a guide unless it'll perfectly fit the new window. There's really no reason to use it as a guide anyway, as all your cuts are 45*.
