Hi,

I'm thinking I want to cut my pre-flared line-set and re-flare the ends to avoid excess line-set draping around my attic.

Amazon has a Flexzion flare tool for 26 dollars shipped:

Given this is likely a one-time-job use, would this fit the bill? Any one have any concerns of going this route?

I have 3/8" and 1/4" tubing to flare.

Looks good. I would do a few test flares to make sure you get them right.

Making flares too small/big and over tightening them are the biggest source of leaks.
