The evaporator fan motor will heat the interior if the compressor isn't running or some other refrigeration system problem exists.

Check to see if the compressor is running. If it isn't, but the dome is warm or hot, the start capacitor and start relay are the usual suspects. If you buy them from Perlick, they are $$ so buying generic replacements make sense.

Do you have some way to check the capacitor? Some digital multimeters have that feature. I have used a resistor and 120 vac in series with the capacitor while measuring the voltage across the resistor to crudely test start and run capacitors but I don't recommend that unless you are set up to do it safely.

A competent refrigeration tech can start the compressor using a substitute capacitor and push button switch to verify the diagnosis... he may even have the parts needed on the truck to perform the fix. The savings from not paying Perlick's price and no shipping will go a long ways toward paying for the tech service call.

Just did a wine frig. Similar.
Compressor got warm, then hot but would not start.
Removed suspect parts, googled part #s, Amazon had both, less than $12 total.
If start relay rattles a lot when shaken, it's blown.
Learned what I now know from Youtube.
