Flame shouldn’t be blue.
What fuel are you burning, kero or oil?
Is the flame dying then popping the primary?

Did you bled the oil pump? If you don't bled it, it won't pump oil. The blue "flame" you think you saw, was most likely the blue spark from the ignition transformer.

Remove the jet line from the nozzle assembly. Turn the line toward an empty open container, and run the burner again, and see if the pump is pumping oil to the nozzle.

Also, the ignitor/electrodes should be 5/16" above the center of/hole in the nozzle, and if an 80° nozzle, 1/16" infront of the nozzle.

Yep your right. No fuel coming though line. Is it a fuel pump issue since it will bleed?

Yep. If it bleeds a solid stream of oil, but doesn't pump oil to nozzle line, its shot.

Your welcome. While your at, since its an old burner, if the pump coupling hasn't been changed, now is a good time to also do that.
