Where should my top furring strip be from my ridge for the ridge cap? I can not find a dimension to place it, should it be like 4" below the ridge or more? I am spacing my strips 24" OC from each other. Just neeed to make sure I put my top strip in the right place to catch my ridge cap screws. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Typically it would be 6" below the peak. But we dont know exactly what ridge cap you are using.

Ayuh,.... As XSleeper says,... it depends on the ridge cap used,.....

It's gotta catch the top strip,.....
