I added an outlet box and an additional light fixture in my attic. I already know that I should have made the last conduit longer so I could staple it to the rafters <6" from each box. Soon I will relocate it to allow for the staples.

Apart from that, is there an NEC issue with mounting electrical this close to roof decking? I had first mounted the boxes on lower framing, until knocking the bulb out with my head.:wacko:

The attic and I are in Georgia, USA.

I see no problem with NEC once you get the cable supported and all boxes buttoned up.

I used a fixture like you but not a keyless one. I chose one with a receptacle and a pull chain switch on it. Then I ran mason's line from the pull chain to the crawl space opening 20' away... making a red-neck wall switch. :wink2:

Correct. These are add-ons wired in series after the switched attic light bulb over the drop-down attic stair.
