I currently purchased a marble fireplace that is cracked. I know I can repair the crack, does anyone have any suggestions on adhesives to repair the crack? I have heard of Granit, (from Turkey) when I was in Ireland but can only find links to the company and no way to purchase it.
I know liquid nails has a stone adhesive but there are some others on the internet. Any suggestions?

There are epoxies for marble repair. You can even tint them a color. Might try customer service at Abatron. They were my "go to" company for epoxy products and have great customer support. They should be able to refer you if they cannot help directly. You might look on Google for "Marble Glue" and "Marble Adhesive" as quite a few possibilites showed up when I searched.

If worse comes to worse, check with your local stone shop as to what they would use or what they would charge to do the repair for you. If you have a museum near, their restoration department may have ideas. Weibold's around Cincinnati restores just about anything you can think of and would have suggestion as to what to use as well.

Marble is very porous and can readily be glued with epoxy. As mentioned earlier, the adhesive is normally tinted to match the color of the stone. I know this is a DIY site, but that joint is going to be in a very visible place, and it could be worth it to have a pro do it. Look for a shop that does marble fabrications. It can be tough finding a shop that actually does the work --- when I was looking for one a while back, most of the shops would tell me that they don't actually do it themselves, "they have a guy that they send it to"
You might want to try what I tried ---- go to Home Depot and buy a couple of cheap marble tiles, and practice.

I have got some quotes from some marble repair places. They want $700 and $1000 for install. Not happening. I can do this with the right products, I am sure. Thanks for the info.
