I bought a chandelier from China, and it has a lot more wires than I'm used to. Some are brown, some are blue. Should I combine the blue wires into one? and the brown wires into one? I've never dealt with such a light fixture. See photo atached. Thanks in advance

That would be my guess. But I also have an ohmmeter so I would test them. Makes sense that one blue and one brown would go to each socket.

No ground wire? Are the brown wires the neutral or the hot. Find out before you wire this up.

Normally with those colours the blue is the neutral but you need to test which one is connected to the shell to be sure. The shell is the neutral.
