I recently purchased a home with large palm trees in the backyard. The trees roots are touching the planter wall. I want to use low voltage lighting to highlight the trees and planter areas, but I don't think I can bury the wires and I don't want to leave them loose on the surface. Any ideas?

Running wires on the surface can be done if you have a ground cover plants, mulch, or something else to hide them.

Solar power lights are a consideration - if you can find ones that are bright enough.
