I'm rebuilding my rotten porch. No real redesign, but wanted to consider different roof alternatives for low pitch structures. I haven't determined the rise/run. It's extremely shallow. It had a 4' or 5' wide asphalt product that spanned the entire width. Looked to be rolled on. Rafters are 2x6s spaced 16". Looking to find something that a DIYer can do without buying too many new specialized tools. Thanks.

I've never worked with EPDM, I was an SBS guy. What roll sizes do they come in? If I had a porch that was 8X16 can I buy a 2 square roll of EPDM? What about adhesive? Does it come in "porch" sizes?

10' rolls are pretty easy to find. Nice to have no seams in that case.

They don't make the rolls in smaller sizes, but some of the roofing suppliers around here have a roll that they cut material off of here and charge per linear foot.
