Low Loss Hose Fittings

Hello Everyone! I am fairly new to the HVAC field. I was wondering everyone's thoughts on Low Loss fittings for HVAC gauge hoses. I have been seeing mixed reviews. Just wanting more input. Thanks!

They are good when you are removing your hose. You don't get a large blast of liquid freon on your hands from the liquid line.

Also you don't get oily fumes from the suction line and oil blowing out on the unit and making a mess. A lot cleaner and neater to use they are.
If they had been available years ago, I'd have checked the high side pressures more often.
Beer can cold was my favorite method.:vs_cool:
