Hello Everyone! I am fairly new to the HVAC field. I was wondering everyone's thoughts on Low Loss fittings for HVAC gauge hoses. I have been seeing mixed reviews. Just wanting more input. Thanks!

Most all of my gauge manifolds I use for service have low loss fittings.
I do not use these hoses for reclaiming and don’t use manifold gauges nor their hoses at all for evacuation.

They are good when you are removing your hose. You don't get a large blast of liquid freon on your hands from the liquid line.

Also you don't get oily fumes from the suction line and oil blowing out on the unit and making a mess. A lot cleaner and neater to use they are.

If they had been available years ago, I'd have checked the high side pressures more often.
