So we are in the market for a new double wall oven cooktop and Microwave.

The last 2 are not as big of an issue as is the oven. In looking, we had first locked in on Kitchenaid, then Kenmore Elite (suppose to be LG) then GE and now Bosch. There are 4 mandatory items: Stainless Steel, must be 27", at least upper convection and meat probe. Would like the newer ones with leave in racks, but not an absolute.

Some complaints we have read about most are that these newer ovens take forever to heat up. We have read complaints about the interior blue finish in the KA chipping off.

Any thoughts, what do you have? Experiences?

We have the GE Monogram series for the oven and cook top.

One piece of advice.....compared to ovens and stove tops, microwave ovens are 'consumables' Assume it will die long before the over or stove top does. Hence, avoid the 'matching' set.

My inlaws had a oven/microwave combo....microwave went out....the cost was not pretty.

Our wall mount oven is electric (convection and self clean). Stove top is gas. It means we can still cook if the power goes off.

Understand, the wife is wanting the "all same brand", not necessarily a must for me but you know how that goes.

We too are gas stove top and electric double oven.

Thanks
