My basement has tons of bright lighting in the form of 48" T8 4100K LED strips. It's super bright down there, awesome for doing work. But sometimes I'm not doing work, and I want to put a light in that's not so harsh. A single 24" t8 tube should be enough. But I'm looking for something very warm. Warmer than 2700K even. Something on par with a 2700k lamp shining through a thick old lamp shade. The "warmest" tubes I've seen are 2700k, and they're florescent, not LED.

Any suggestions?

Maybe a half dozen wall sconce lamps from the hundreds to choose from and a soft white florescent bulb would work for you.

We solved the problem with this wall lamp that was already in house because we're not into decorating but rather into function more than form and leave it on 24/7.
