renovating full bath, installed pocket door which eliminates the old location for the lite/ bath fan switch. new location is a few feet from shower door. how close to shower door is code? getting inspections, want it all good for the inspector on first try. i figure theres got to be a minimum distance from shower to prevent someone to flip switch while standing in shower. thanks

not sure if there is a code requirement for that but the best way to get it right on the first try is to call the inspection office and ask them. Code may say one thing, but the local inspection office may have a more strict requirement.

A 'few feet' is fine. A switch or recep must be outside the actual footprint of a shower or tub.
