I took the LED bulbs out of ceiling fan in place of 4 60 bulbs. When I put in the 4th bulb the light fixture on the fan goes out. I’ll remove the bulb and turn switch off and back on and the lights will come back on.

I rotated the 4th one I put in with the same results. Then I tried using an Led for the last bulb and it didn’t go off with that one. Am I using to much wattage? I’m not entirely sure exactly what is the maximum wattage. Any help?

The light kits on fans have a current limiter built in.
This is the governments way to help you stay energy concussions.
You either need to use all LEDs or try 40 watt lamps
Even the 40 watt lamps may be too much.

Most newer (manufactured since 2009)ceiling fans have bulb wattage limiters, which shut down the lights if too much power is being drawn by the bulbs. The limit is 190W. That will prevent you from using four 60W incandescent bulbs. The solution is to use lower wattage bulbs.

The limiter circuits often don't work properly with LED bulbs.
