Are those the high intensity lamps? I had a cabinet with that type and the bulbs burned out every few months. I switched them to regular globe incandescents and they have lasted for 3 years now. But yes, I agree...you need to have the voltage checked.:yes:

I bought a China cabinet from Ashley. There are 2 lights that shine down on the glasses and China. Both bulbs went out at the same time. One of them actually shattered. They are on a timer and run for 5 hours a day. They are maybe 2 months old. Other bulbs in new fixtures seem to be dying before their time also. The house was built in '96. Is there anything i can check? I'm thinking about switching over to LED.
