Hello,
My LG gas dryer has been diagnosed by a Sears/A&E company tech who told me the igniter failed.
I paid the estimate price and refused the install of the item, 1) he did not have the item in his truck despite having sent ALL the info on the appliance; 2) the part cost was $125.00 but labor was $280.00. And when I asked if he would be returning, he said don't know.
My question is this: does anyone know of a you tube video to exchange a gas igniter in an LG model DLG7201WE for me to determine if I can accomplish this.
I am by trade a maintenance electrician and not for appliances.

If you can get the OEM part it should be just hand tools unplug the wire from the igniter and then unscrew it from the sheet metal. Getting to it might be a challenge.
