I ordered a bunch of single decora 20A - 125V outlets - Leviton 16351-SGW. The back of the receptacles are branded Cooper. Am I missing something? Do they manufacture for Leviton?

They sure were. Really bizarre.

My initial thought is that they are all made by a manufacturer in China (they are made in China) and these were misplaced into incorrect packaging. They are brand new - doesn't matter at this point.

Counterfeiting is a problem even in the electrical industry. Contact the manufacturer to see if they are legit.

On the other hand, Cooper does make receptacles in the Decora style. Perhaps they were substituted: http://www.cooperindustries.com/con.../general_duty/decorator_receptacles_1107.html
