You could place a vapor barrier and then lay out furring strips and then plywood. You'll probably want to create a break in the floor between the two rooms with a transition of some type to allow for movement.
Leveling cement -step down porch with rest of house
My husband and I want to incorporate our screened in porch to a part of our kitchen. The roof etc are all in place, but the floor steps down about 4 inches to the screened in porch. We want to level this with the inside of the house to continue travertine flooring. What is the best way to do this? Do we need a vapor barier? rebar? HELP! Thanks in advance for answers.
