i have 24x24 tiles (porcelain) in my kitchen that are uneven to each other and was told to get a floor leveler to smooth it out. i started to look it up and could only find concrete levelers and this guy was describing something different. anyone have any ideas?

Nope.
Any floor leveling would be done before the tile is set. There are also systems that will keep your tiles even but they have to be used as the tile is set.
Not much you can do now except pull it all out and start again.
