I am getting a new thermostat for my Lennox furnace, replacing an old one.
My question is:

• Can I place the hub and HD display units at 2 different locations way apart? (this model comes with a communicating hub and a HD display)

• Where is the actual temperature sensor built-in to sense the room temperature? (is it inside the hub or HD display unit)

Q1 – Yes. The setup anticipated by the system designers is that the HD display is wall mounted in the living area with the smart hub located near the HVAC equipment. They are connected by wires – in case you were thinking that they communicate wirelessly.

Q2 – At the thermostat (the HD display).
