I have just started rebuilding my pool deck and installed the first of 7 2 x 8 x 10 ft ledgers along concrete wall. the next ledge to go up is along a section of the concrete that has a 130 degree angle off the end of the first ledge that was installed.

what is the best way to butt the 1st and 2nd ledger together?
do they need to be butted since they will not show once the decking is installed? Thanks for any thoughts.

The ends of the ledgers don't have to be attached or butted to each other. It is purely aesthetics, provided that your ledgers are connected to the wall properly.
