I have a florescent light over my sink and I'd like to hook up my under cabinet LED kit that I bought.

The LED kit consists of an RGB control box (6A Max Output Current):

Which connects to a AC/DC 12v adapter:

How would I connect this to the existing wire for the florescent light so I can use my lightswitch to turn it on and off?

Thanks!

Since that unit appears to have a plug on it you need to install a switched receptacle to plug it in. Run a cable from the light fixture box to a convenient location where the power supply box can be installed.

I guess I could remove the florescent light and just put the switched receptacle in its place. The idea is to hide the plug and wires from the counter and just use the switch.

Of course you could just install an outlet inside a cabinet, and used a switch to switch on and off that outlet.
