The water has been leaking on to my ceiling and now on to the side walls of my room from the bathroom piping in the apartment above mine. I talked to the owners of the apartment above mine and they even changed their piping connections so that even if it were to leak it wouldn't reach my walls. But the problem still persists. I searched for the solutions and this link http://www.fixr.com/n.local-plumber.northampton.ma.html with almost the same problem. I will be really helpful if someone has the solution

This problem could be the result of any number of problems. Have you removed the drywall from your ceiling to identify the source of the leak? A failed shower pan or toilet seal could be causing the problem. Is the flow of water steady, or does it seem to coincide with activity in the bathroom, e.g., a toilet flush or the use of the shower?
