Please help! We are installing our DIY inground pool. The housing for the light is leaking. Thank goodness we have not back filled the light yet. I noticed it being wet, pulled all the dirt back and indeed a small amount of watter has accumulated under the light. It appears to be leaking at the bottom. The light cord has already been plumbed and is up above the water level so it is not that. I cant believe it is sealed with only 2 paper type gaskets while everything else in the pool is sealed with vinyl gaskets. Anyway, what is the best way to repair this. The water level is already way up over the light, so if there is anyway to fix it underwater we would like to go that route. Thanks for your help!!

Just for the record, plumbers don't work on pools as far as I know, and if this is a DIY pool, it sounds custom.:huh::huh:

Pictures would definitely be a great place to start if you're looking for some constructive advice. I can't even begin to picture what you're talking about.

Electricity and water do not mix well. For the safety of all who will use the pool, call a pool professional and get it fixed correctly.
