I have a frostfree sillcock that leaks from the cap on top from the time I turn it on utill I turn it off. The shut off valve works fine. Is there a kit or adjustment I can make to stop the leaking from the cap short of replacing the sillcock?
I have never seen a fix it kit for a frost free sillcock. My frost free one has a whole set of instructions that explain, curiously, how critical it is to remove the hose from the sillcock during freezing season, else they explain that the sillcock will leak, and will need to be replaced. They also explain that it is necessary to pitch the sillcock backwards towards the house during installation, else the sillcock was prone to freezing. I guess they are semi-frost free. In any case, the instructions specifically stated that if the sillcock leaked, you had to replace it.
