First, thanks for help in the past, your advice helped me install a water softener without previous experience.

Next, i opened a 3/4" cpvc ball valve today that is opened maybe once per 3 months. the body has cracked slightly on one side of the valve, so when it was open, the cracked side was bursting water through the crack (vertical line immediately to the right of the red valve handle in attached picture). Is there a quick fix to be able to use this valve, without cutting out and replacing it? some type of glue/clamp product that will hold the pressure in, similar to chemical/steam industry?

thanks.

Cut out all of that mess and replace with PEX. It will also increase your water pressure. Place the valve some place where you are not getting flexing on the softener moving around, which is probably how that valve cracked.

CPVC has a smaller I.D., then Copper and PEX.
