I have an old iron pipe coming up into the plumbing for the laundry sink...it's leaking at the base where it comes up from the floor. Is there a kind of cement or something I can use around the bottom for a water tight seal? Thanks.
Any iron or stell pipe is going to leak and plug up at some point and need to be replaced with PVC.
You can patch all you want to but it will fail again at some point, not a good thing when it's under the slab.
