Hi All,
I've two LBs that both show warping of the cover:

Any issue? Should I get replacement covers or leave it be?

They've been out there for about 8 years.

Stick them in a toaster oven or whatever (propane torch works too held back properly) for 5 minutes or so and they'll get pliable so you can set something on them to keep them flat as they cool. PVC is very friendly to work with when you heat it up.

I am not as sure it is warping as much as it is missing the gasket...

Thanks John; I'll pop off the screws to check. I doubt they sell new gaskets separately do they if it has deteriorated?

No they don't. To be honest, unless there is a specific reason (bugs getting in or direct weather) I am not to sure I would even worry about it.

There should be sealing compound (often referred to as duct seal) inside the LB anyway, something like this

I'll pop off the screws and see what's in there.
The garage is on the other side so being weather tight to there isn't as critical as living space.

Here is pic of cover plate.

The gasket was disintegrated at the top of the lb and not so much at bottom.
I may silicon it if I can find a tube not clogged.

You can also just flip it over and hope it lasts another 8 years😜

It'll give you a little area for moisture to weep from too, maybe
