Its been discovered that it doesn't matter what letters are in between the first and last letters of a word, the human mind can sort it out!
Back to the subject! Are we talking about a towable trailer with slide outs or are we talking about a mobile that is moved twice in its lifetime?
If its towable, with slides, care should be taken that there's room to operate the slide, with the floor in place. For a 'mobile' home it doesn't matter!
One type of laminate floor that I laid, required a 1X3 furring strip be screwed to the floor as a starter strip. It was placed in such a position, that its edge was 3 courses from the starter wall. After the floor was finished all the way across, the 1X3 was removed and the space was back filled. Only ran into this type of flooring once!
All the others were started at the wall, using wedges to allow for expansion space.
