Looking for some help on a couple of items:

1. I have a couple of these Reddish Brown spots appearing in my lawn that i'd like to take care of, looks like some type of lawn fungus...just not sure.

2. Yellow tips to my grass and not the same dark green color as other areas recently re-seeded.

*My soil is heavy clay..i put down lime 2x per year and typically fertilize 4x a year, just switched to using "Milorganite"

*Blade on the mower is new this season
*Grass is never cut less than 3" and is always mulched

Search for "red thread fungus".

Nitrogen deficiency is usually to blame.

Awesome...thanks, just switched to using the Milorganite with a higher nitrogen content so this should help...
