Hi, I am trying to plan out how to add a drain for a washer and laundry tub (sink). However, since the run off 4" pipe is a little off the ground the rough in for the sink is coming at around 24.5", so roughly 25" when accounting for the pitch. Is this doable? Maybe lift the sink up off the ground heigher? Thanks!

An AAV may not work well for a washing machine drain----because the washer discharges at a high volume.

Here that would not meet code--but might in your area---

how high is the house trap or sewer pipe going out the wall?

Just build a platform for the Laundry tray or get a wall hung model. An AAV would get you turned down here.

I don't know, the 4" CI pipe just goes under the basement. I dont really see the house trap. 4" just covers 2 walls and then goes under at the end of 2nd wall.

Agreed. I am not fond of using AAV but proper venting isn't an option. Previous owners just used a laundry sink that was not vented and with an S trap.

if the sewer main goes under the floor, there is no reason to be able to lower the whole main to rough in the sink at proper height..
