How do I find a replacement screen? I have the door model number but when I put it in the Larson site no items show up, it says to call. And I can't find the part number.

My door info is:

34652031.121051122

Model:*346-52
Color:*White
Door Width:*32
Door Height:*81
Date Built:*11/22/2005

Is this something I can purchase online? If so, does anyone know where? Or would Lowe's have it in-store?

Thanks.

Hi Neal,

Yes, the screen is manufactured with a rubber edge that goes into the sliding window's slot, so it can pull and feed the screen in and out of the roller, which is at the top. Worst case scenario, it may be able to be fitted with typical rubber screening but I'd rather find the replacement part. I'm also not sure what the other end looks like, in the roller, which I'll take apart when ready.

Larson may replace the screen at no charge if you call the number. I have had clients try to install closers on Larsons and drive screws directly through the screen. I call the number, and they just sigh and say they'll have one in the mail to me. Even at a small cost it would be worth getting the right one.

Just by coincidence I’m trying to do the same thing. Called Larson about replacement and it’s no longer available. Different model then yours though. I took it apart just to see if I could order a regular screen. The screen was glued the internal shaft. Looks like it’s going to be a pita to get it glued around the roller but I ordered some screen and am going to give it a try. I didn’t remove the rubber end. I thought it was just spline, maybe I better have a better look. Will let you know how it comes out.

Yeah I'll have to give them a call. Hopefully they have the same one available, if not I'll have to improvise. I just thought it should be something offered, that can be purchased online. It's a screen, which will obviously tear at some point, it should be easy to replace.

Thanks guys.

Now that I look at the rubber end looks like there’s no way to do a regular screen replacement. Good luck on yours. Looks
Like this one is just gonna be replaced. Wish I read this post before I ordered the screen
