Laminate flooring

We are going to lay laminate flooring in our family room, down the hallway and into the bedrooms that adjoin the hallway. Should the Laminate be laid lengthwise down the hall and flow the same direction into the bedrooms or should we use transitions pieces between the hallway and bedrooms.

Try to think ahead and save yourself some cutting and money. If you lay start the planks going in one direction for the hallway and only had to setup t moulding points at the doors, you can save a lot of planks. Start at the hallway running into the bedroom and family room - not wall to wall in the hallway.

Then connect them, staggering them for a stronger floor and continue down the end.

Stagger - leading down the hallway to the bedroom. Start on the right side.
