laminate flooring

I have hardwood floor in my hallway which runs into my living room. I want to put laminate flooring in my living/dining room, but am not sure if it should be laid the same way the hallway is run. Please advise.

Try to think ahead and save yourself some cutting and money. If you lay start the planks going in one direction for the hallway and only had to setup t moulding points at the doors, you can save a lot of planks. Start at the hallway running into the bedroom and family room - not wall to wall in the hallway.

Then connect them, staggering them for a stronger floor and continue down the end.

Stagger - leading down the hallway to the bedroom. Start on the right side.

Jason - I just recently posted the same information to another guest.
