My landlord said when they installed the real wood flooring over concrete foundation in the living room, they had to level the floor first by putting something down like concrete ... I am about to pull up the carpet in the master and study and lay laminate flooring ... do I need to worry about leveling the floor? Do I need to put down a moisture barrier? The laminate already has padding ... do I need to add an underlayment?
