Neighbors kitchen sink just stopped working ( water flow ). Took a look at it no water comes out faucet but does come out sprayer. Water does come through lines but does not make it through faucet hot or cold. Dated faucet with calcium buildup on hot copper line coming from floor at connection point to flexible line. Why won't water come through faucet and why stop completely all of a sudden?

Remove the aerator and check for flow

Bad or clogged diverter.
