The first two pic's show the existing setup, the 2" pipe turns 90 degrees in the wall and connects to the 3" main stack.
The new cabinets won't allow leaving the horizontal pipe where it is, I'm thinking of going straight down off the disposer into a P trap under the floor (unfinished utility room below) with 2" PVC and tying into an existing 2" drain that for some reason is open and unused but has a p trap which you can see in the third picture.


Will 2" save me from tying into a vent line?
