Kitchen floor tile

I am trying to tile my kitchen but am on a strick budget. I purchased some odd lot 18x18 ceramic tile but it is three different shades and some ilooks like marble, some looks like slate and some looks like stone. Any ideas on how to make a design that won't look like an accident.
