I recently bought this Kitchen Faucet Pull-Out Spray Head (image attached) to find out that it doesn't fit my pipe, the one I bought is a G 1/2 but it seems I need a Spray Head that has a wider thread at the end, can anyone advise what I can do...Thank you !

What is the correct item, all Kitchen Faucet Pull-Out Spray Head show the measurement G 1/2, I don't even know what Kitchen Faucet Pull-Out Spray Head type I currently have. Besides G 1/2 standard what other types are there?

Always safer to buy whole kit including hose. Then old one gets disconnected at a plumbing connection and new one installs there. Likely a 3/8 inch female threaded nut but could be 1/2 inch. Best to bring old one to big box store to eyeball correct fitting and size.

...and it's a Kohler, Moen, Delta..., i.e., is the replacement brand "spray head" the same brand as the system?

Some of the "universal" replacements aren't actually universal. Some faucet parts may be/are proprietary.
