most cabinets have corner braces that you screw through into the countertop. make sure the screws aren't too long that they come thorugh the top of the countertop. that's if its a formica countertop you are installing. if its solid surface or granite then use silicone and no screws.

Thanks for the help. That's what I thought when I saw those brackets. I just wanted a second opinion
